Hello, Thanks for the query. In this communication we are supposed to give general guidelines only. No drugs can be prescribed at all. Plus I have absolutely no idea about current FBG, PP & HbA1c%, serum creatinine, urea, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, lipid profile and BP. Plus no idea about which drugs are being taken with insulin to control diabetes. SO there is no way to give any suugestions. Thanks.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user rao, if only the post lunch sugar is high, you can add 4 units of actrapid insulin 15 min before lunch and recheck post-lunch sugar values with your glucometer. If you have low sugar symptoms around 5-6 pm after adding insulin reduce the dose to 2 units
