Unexplained neck and paraspinal muscle upper back tightness for 7 months, no pain but trunk twisting and side bending, bending neck down can feel the tightness. Started with a mild discomfort on left upper back and progressed to right side, lower back no problem. No loss in strength. Tried multiple muscle relaxants, pain killers, posture exercises ,hot fomentation, stretching but not helped. Esr, crp normal ,cpk negative, ra negative, ana negative, hlb27 negative, vit d /calcium normal ,uric acid normal, full thyroid profile normal. Cbc normal, full mri spine- (noticed disc degeneration in cervical spine, loss of lordosis in cervical and lumbar spine suggestive of paraspinal spasm) .please help.
