Mr Rakesh, Thans for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. From the details it is not clear why the prescription has been changed. Plus no idea about glucose control or HbA1c%. Again the newly prescribed tablet has Metformin 850 mg compared to 5oo mg in the earlier tablet. So there is really no reason for any of the problems described. Unless I am having all the necessary details like fasting, PP glucose, HbA1c%, dietary pattern, extent of exercise , lipid profile and BP readings, there is no way to give any suggestions. Another important aspect is your being overtly obese. With a BMI of 31.17 kgs/Sq meter, (Normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter), you have an excess of 23 to 24 kgs (ideal body weight should be 69 to 70 kgs). This excess fat is the main culprit for all the issues. Please look at reducing the weight by at least 5 to 8%. That will help considerably. For any other details you may come back with all the necessary information. Thanks.

Heaviness in breathing is usually happens due to gemer p2 and not glycomet gp 3/850. Still it is advisable to stop glycomet gp3/850 and start glimisave m2 (2/500) which means to reduce the dose as your sugars are controlled. Also you can take some anatacid like cap pan d 40 mg one before breakfast and one before dinner. Keep checking your blood sugars regularly. Follow diet and exercise strictly. Once lockdown is over you can consult your doctor.

Hi, from your drugs list, things obvious are 1. U take high doses of glimepride, indirectly reflecting poor insulin reserve in your body. In this setting weakness can be due to poor sugar control. Need more details and sugar values to comment on it I suggest you keep a closer follow up of sugars, and better to soon go for additional insulin if sugar values are high.
