Dear lybrate-user, you need change of medicine. Alprax is not an antidepressant. At this age, you may become dependent on it, if you use it for long term. Please consult your doctor or go to a psychiatrist.

Dear sir I am not sure what do you mean by depression, because it has a different meaning for psychiatrist. If you are really having depression than other good medication is available. The problem with current medication is that it is addictive. I think you should try to gradually discontinue it and try other good one after consulting psychiatrist. Take care.
