Hello Dr. This is arslan my question is that why my pp level is not controlled as it is always above 400 despite of I am taking mixtard 30 30/20 units everyday I tested my fasting blood sugar level was 200. I have started insulin 3 days back and before that I was taking 3 mg glimepiride two times with 50/500 sita+metformin. Although I have taken insulin but result as same as I was taking medicine which are mentioned above, please note that my hba1c is 11% my age is 30 and I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes since last 4 years my weight is 86 kg. Kindly suggest should I do?

First of ol you have started your insulin 3 days back and secondly your insulin of choice is wrong just start lupisulin m 50 30 unit s/c 30 min before breakfast and 16 unit s/c 30 min before dinner and kindly check your blood sugar daily once in the early morning when ever you wake up and once in the evening before dinner and you r not a type 2 diabetic your diagnosis is lada kinldy do some aerobics exercise.
