My mother is diabetic and have high bp. Doctor gave her telista am morning and night. But her bp is now 95/66. She is feeling low in energy and her pulse is above 100 after the start of medication. Kindly advise.

Hello, Thanks for the query. The BP reading mentioned is a bit too low. She probably needs to take antihypertensive tablets only once a day. BP should be ideally around 120 to 130 /70 to 80 mm Hg. Pulse may be ok. SInce i do not have all the necessary details, it is difficult to comment any further. It is also important to know how her blood glucose is controlled (fasting, PP & HbA1c%), plus serum creatinine, urea and microalbuminuria. Plus weight and height also to be known. Thanks.
