Hi sir/madam, I am 41 years old I have hypertension since 11 years of course taking medicine it is under control but last year due to my family problems I stayed away alone developed depression and anxiety, consult doctor and prescribed nexitoplus for 5 months later on changed to anxit 0.5 mg night, almost 5 months over if I take 0.25 mg I can't .kindly suggest better solution to leave the anxit, and for b.p I am using telvasbeta 50, night tazloc 20 with regards thank you so much. I do regular walk to feel better.

Anxit (alprazolam) can be used for emergency for anxiety. If the symptoms are present on most of the days continuously, you need to consult a psychiatrist and get your anxiety/ depression evaluated and may need a course of safe daily medications. Anxit should never be taken daily. Long term it can cause serious problems like early dementia, cognitive changes, personality changes, even withdrawal seizures, all the best.
