Hi dr, my mom is diabetic. Dr. prescribed medicine pioz mf7. 5. She had this medicine for almost 6 months. Now this message not available at the chemist and they say it has many side effects so it is banned. Dr. gave an alternate pioz 7.5 & glycomet 500 instead of that. Not sure what to do. I searched the internet and nowhere it says it is banned. Can you please help us understand if the medicine is good to take. Also now my moms fasting sugar level is 300 due to non-availability of that medicine.
