Dear Lybrate-User, - your bp is high, try to reduce it by lifestyle measures:- a fried, processed and junk foods, restrict intake of tea coffee to 1-2 cups per day if you have more, also avoid alcohol & smoking if you do - have more of fibre containing foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, beans, pulses, sprouts, nuts - have a salt restricted diet, also reduce sugar intake - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming & yoga, meditation & deep breathing to relax your mind and body which will help reduce your bp - sleep well for at least 6-7 hrs at night, keep your sleep and wake up time fixed - reduce weight if overweight.
