I have 172 mg/dl in HBA1C TEST. I want to ask whether I come into diabetic patient or still in pre diabetic stage?

Hello, Thanks for the query. HbA1c% is usually given as %, say - Normal <5.7%, pre-diabetes: 5.7 to 6.4%, diabetes > 6.5%. So please give that number. The number mentioned is (172 mg) is average glucose level. This is high. It is better if you give fasting, PP & HbA1c% all together, then it is easy to give a clear opinion. Thanks,

This not HbA1C result. It's result is in form of percentage. This is your blood sugar level. For any conclusion tell me after how much time of taking food you have given blood sample.
