I am from VIsakhapatnam. Having completed 52 years. I'm a diabetic since 14 years. I am suffering from IBS since 2 years. Taking medication. dietician prescribed Insulin 50/50 in the morning and evening 15 units each. Gastroenterologist advised to stop drinking Coffee. Since I am taking it from long tenure it's not become possible. I'm also suffering from fatigue in the morning from 10 am to 2 pm. Even my voice became low. I'm also suffering sleeplessness. Please inform from what kind of disease I am suffering and to whom I have to consult.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Since you have diabetes it is absolutely important to achieve a strict glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg, PP between 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. If this is achieved, then fatigue and tiredness will be reduced. If the Gastroenterologist has suggested to stop coffee, then it is better to do so. Another important aspect is your BMI which is closer to grade 1 obesity with 28.9 kgs/Sq meters (normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter). That also contribute to fatigue. It is necessary to reduce weight through proper diet and exercise and strict glucose control. With regular physical exercise sleeplessness also will be benefited. Thanks.
