My hemoglobin was 10.5.After taking Dexorange for 6 months it has become 11.0.What are the reasons for low haemoglobin? How can I increase hemoglobin?

Low hemoglobin is called as anemia. There are many different types of anemia depending on cause. To diagnose type of anemia CBC blood test should be done. Common cause of anemia is iron deficiency anemia which can be due to inadequate diet it can also be due to worms in intestine or slow blood loss due to piles, bleeding gums or excess menstruation in females. Other common type of anemia is megaloblastic anemia which is due to folic acid and vitamin b 12 deficiency. There are many more type of anemia. Cbc blood test will helpful in diagnosis of anemia and it's type.
