Dear lybrateuser, - Your triglycerides & total cholesterol are high & hdl cholesterol is low - the levels can be corrected by diet & regular exercise as otherwise it leads to cholesterol deposit in the heart & blood vessels which can result in decrease of blood supply & a heart attack or a coronary artery disease or peripheral artery disease - avoid deep fried, processed & junk foods, also foods containing trans & saturated fats - have more of fibre containing foods such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, sprouts, nuts( a handful daily), soya products, have low fat dairy - have heart healthy fats as in fish like salmon, tuna, mackeral, nuts such as walnuts, almonds, avocados, seeds such as flax, sesame, olive, canola & sunflower oil - do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming, play a game, do yoga & deep breathing - avoid alcohol & smoking if you do, also restrict intake of carbohydrates, refined foods & increase intake of fibre containing foods & proteins.
