Hello doctor, I have a daughter who is 11 years old and since two years she has been playing lawn tennis. Since one year the praise sessions has increased. And since 2 months now she is complaining of pain in her heels I did show her to a doc but he just said do ice padding. Can you please help in this.

(Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation)use ice ing in the morning. 4)Discuss with your physio therapist for exercise plan 5)Apply heat compression every 6 hours and try to avoid high heel shoes For prevention do like this - 1)Try to maintain good flexibility through stretching exercises 2)Try to avoid excessive running on hard surfaces 3)Try to use quality, well-fitting shoes with firm support and a shock-absorbent sole 4)Do take a multivitamin syrup regularly Hope that helps

Please check her serum vitam D.it must be very less. She needs treatment for low vit d level. Please give more of milk paneer and curd!

You can apply silicon heel cushion in her footwears. That can prevent her from the pain she is getting and please visit a doctor.
