If you are symptomatic start taking thyroid supplement right now. If asymptomatic repeat TSH after one month, if still high get antithyroid antibody test. If antithyroid antibody test is positive start treatment, if negative repaeat TSH regularly and start treatment if TSH increases further or symptoms develop.
