I am suffering from thyroid problem. My thyroid observed report value is 5.490 uIU/ml and I was taking 75 thyrox pills. please suggest which power pills now should I consume?

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The TSH value mentioned 5.49 mU/L is the current one with dosage of Thyroxine 75 mcg is it? If so then you may have to increase it by another 12.5 mcg per day. Then check TSH after 8 weeks. Ideally TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L on adequate dosage of thyroxine. At that level all the symptoms are in check. Thanks.
