Myself :- Total Cholesterol:- 248 ; Triglycerides :- 191 ; HDL:- 38 ; Non HDL:- 210 ; LDL:- 171.8 ; VLDL Cholesterol:- 38.2 ; LDL/HDL ratio :- 4.52 ; CHOL/HDL ratio :- 6.53 Mothers :-Total Cholesterol:- 247 ; Triglycerides :- 132 ; HDL:- 54 ; NON HDL :- 193 ; LDL:- 166.6 ; VLDL Cholesterol:- 26.4 ; LDL/HDL ratio :- 3.09 ; CHOL/HDL ratio :- 4.57 Please suggest diet to be followed whether Chicken fried in oven and wheat chapati affect cholesterol.

Non-veg food has direct effect on cholesterol, as it is found only in animal products including meat and milk. Both of you need to minimise animal food, not more than once a week. Wheat can add weight but has no direct impact on cholesterol. Reducing intake of wheat and rice along with white sugar, salt and oils help a lot in reducing weight. Increase consumption of plant based foods like fruits and raw veggies, which have direct positive impact on cholesterol.
