Hi, Diabetes is a disease which can be controlled and not cured. Thus, a maintenance dose of medicines given for diabetes should be taken regularly for life long.

Mr. lybrate-user you have achieved a good sugar control with medication. Do not stop medication without consulting your doctor. And please never mix two systems of medication as we do not know about the interactions between allopathic and ayurvedic medicines.

Dear Lybrate user reduce the dose of medicine what you are taking now gradually and chek sugar level, if it's under control switch to Ayurvedic medicine slowly and follow some diets which control the BSL.
