Taking 8 boiled eggs is not harmful but that is not the solution for weight gain as well. You need to take a high protein and carb diet as well as include them in the right proportion at the right time.

Hello. I am 26 years old. I am a skinny guy and want to gain muscles. I started doing the exercise regularly from last 3 months. As nutrition point of view I eat two bananas, two eggs and some amount of dry fruits regularly. So I want to ask you that do I need to take whey protien and also want to ask you that is whey and casiene protien are complete safe. As my friend told me that those protien causes decrease in immune strength, decrease in sex power etc. Or these are nothing but just myths that have grown around. Please suggest me the best way.

Hi, gaining weight is a slow process. You need to increase your intake of carbs ad well as proteins. Including nuts eggs and bananas is good. You can add on sprouts, pasta, cheese, chicken, fish, parathas n stuff as well. Taking whey post workout with water is absolutely safe provided your workout intensity is good or else egg whites post workout and bananas are also good.

Hi if you cannot stand and exercise don't worry. You can try and do some basic stretches and some yoga if possible. Also make sure your diet is proper. Eat small frequent meals every 3-4 hours, avoid high fat foods that are heavy to digest. Stick to soups, salads, veggies, eggs, fish & chicken (if non-veg). Oats, daliya and the likes.

MONITOR PORTIONS

MONITOR PORTIONS
It is incredibly easy to consume too much food than your body actually requires. One reason for this simple mistake is the brain’s inability to keep up with how your stomach is feeling, i.e.: full or still hungry. Measuring your servings will not only ensure you are eating appropriate amounts, but will also help you trim down your servings if needed. And, if portion control is difficult for you, buy food products in single servings whenever possible or divide up your larger portions into smaller ones as soon as you get home from the store (and when you are not hungry).

Eat Those Vegetables:

Eat Those Vegetables:
Atleast 5 servings of vegetables a day is a must for this list of healthy eating tips. One serving is equal to ½ cup of cooked vegetables or 1 cup of leafy green vegetables. Not only will these nutrient-packed items fill you up with their fiber content, they will provide your immune system with all the fighting power it needs.

Choose Color Over White

M.Sc - Dietitics / Nutrition

Choose Color Over White
Omit white food products: In order to benefit from the good stuff that fiber has to offer, choose grains over refined products. Such items as brown rice, whole grain breads, and whole wheat pasta are far better choices than their white counterparts. Also, since white sugar is basically empty calories, limit it as much as possible. Instead, choose honey for its antioxidant power as well as its sweetness. 25 grams of fiber per day is recommended.

Healthy Eating Tip

Healthy Eating Tip
Choose whole foods: as often as possible, whether food shopping or dining out, keep whole foods over processed foods as your main choice. For example, buy fresh chicken breast over the frozen breaded cutlets. At a restaurant, order steamed broccoli instead of the creamed spinach.
