Hifen 100 MG Dry Syrup helps in treating infections caused by bacteria. This medication works as an antibiotic by stopping the growth of bacteria and also killing it. It cures infections such as bronchitis (infection of the air tubes to the lungs), gonorrhea ( a sexually transmitted disease) and infections of ear, throat, tonsils etc. Hifen 100 MG Dry Syrup only cures bacterial infections and doesn’t work for viral infections like flu. This medication is also available in the form of chewable tablets and capsules.

This medication is usually taken at intervals of 12 or 24 hours. Remember to take it at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, it’s better to skip that dose if it’s already too late. Overdosing can cause harmful effects in your body.

It is important to check all the ingredients before the medication. It can help you avoid having allergic reactions later in case you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Discuss with your doctor if you are taking any drugs or dietary supplements.     Hifen 100 MG Dry Syrup is used to cure bone and joint infections like septic arthritis and osteomyelitis caused by Staphylococci and Streptococci species.
  • Skin and structure Infection

    Hifen 100 MG Dry Syrup helps in treating Skin and structure infection like cellulitis, wound infection and cutaneous abscess caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus.

  • Allergy

    Do not use this medication if the patient has a known allergy to Hifen 100 MG Dry Syrup or any other Beta-lactam antibiotics like penicillins and cephalosporins.
  • Lidocaine

    Hifen 100 MG Dry Syrup is contraindicated if Lidocaine is used as a solvent for intravenous injection. Lidocaine can be used as a slovent for Intramuscular injection excluding contraindications.
  • Calcium-containing products

    Hifen 100 MG Dry Syrup is contraindicated in neonates who are on calcium-containing intravenous solutions or infusions such as parenteral nutrition because of the risk of precipitation of Hifen 100 MG Dry Syrup and calcium.
