I am a 19 year old female and starting this morning, i've been having a pain over my heart that's coupled with shortness of breath. It isn't a constant pain. I will be sitting doing nothing and all of a sudden I feel a strain on my heart like it's about to explode and then a sharp sudden pain that lasts about 10 seconds. Immediately after, I feel like I can't catch my breath. It also gets worse if I breathe in deeply or when I get up suddenly. I don't have anxiety and I am not stressed in any way. I also don't have a history of high bp. I wear a fitbit that monitors my heart rate and I would look at the rate and it would be 81 and then 30 seconds later when I have that sharp pain, my heart rate jumps to 140. What could be the problem? Should I go to the er?
