lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. TSH 8.28 mU/L is high, but categorised as sub-clinical hypothyroidism. Usually no treatment is advocated in this. However, if there are troublesome symptoms, then treatment may have to be initaiated as in your case. Your BMI is 28.9 kgs/Sq meter, close to being grade 1 obesity. This is mostly due to hypothyroidism, plus other symptoms too. Thanks.
