My daughter 5 year old. From lost 1 year she suffer due to diabetic. recently in test thyroid stimulating hormone 9.6 percentile. What can I do for her.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I am sure you are treating her diabetes with insulin injections. Hope you are able to keep the glucose levels in fair control. As regards thyroid functions, are you referring to TSH value as 9.6 mU/L? If so then the child has hypothyroidism also. This needs to be treated with Levothyroxine. Dose has to be decided on the basis of TSH & T4 values plus weight of the child. It is absolutely essential to start the treatment immediately, otherwise child's intelligence will get affected. Thanks.
