Hi I am 6 week pregnant women, I Have a query regarding thyroid, actually in tests my thyroid shown 3.98 and when I show the reports to my gynecologist she told me its normal, but when I take one more opinion with other gynecologist she advice me to take some Medicine for this slight thyroid to control. Now I am confused please help. Thanks in advance.

It is advisable to keep the TSH levels below 3. You can take one more test at another lab If above 3 no harm in taking medicine for the duration of the pregnancy. But keep repeating the test throughout the pregnancy.
