What to do during pregnancy in seventh month thyroid (TSH) is 13.09 and another lab report TSH is 8.60.while in second month TSH was 3.60. I am taking the dose eltroxin 75 from last three year. This is first pregnancy. After consulting doctor eltroxin dose has been increased 75 to 100. My question is that now safe and healthy my baby.

Dear Lybrate user, The requirement of Eltroxin increases during pregnancy and reference levels are lower. It should be taken as Thyroid deficiency has an adverse effect on unborn baby. Baby's Thyroid Levels also will have to be done. Follow Doctor's advice.
