My son is 10 years old and he is becoming fatty now a days. His height is 4.9 and weight is 56. Is it true that his fat will stop growing his height. Please reply.

Usually girls start gaining height much more earlier than boys and in case of boys, the protein is utilized either in weight in case of non-active child or else is consumed by the body in active children. But that is also variable, we can't make a fixed standard notion for each and every child.
As height can be gained till 21 yrs. Of age in males and 18 yrs. In females, so there are 5 yrs. More left to grow further!
medication:
start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - bakson's hite-aid and five phos. - both thrice daily and thuja 1m/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months.
Management:
consume a balanced diet. A person will look a lot shorter when having a plump body. Not only that, being fit by eating right will make you taller and feel better!

-sleeping is the time when your body grows, get between 9 and 11 hours of sleep per night if you're a preteen or still younger than 20.
-avoid any bad habit like smoking which affects the height, also avoid anabolic steroids which inhibit bone growth in young children and teens.
-always stand straight instead of hunching your back.
(you can probably increase your height by a few inches with diet and lifestyle changes, especially if you are still in your teens or even your early 20s (for boys).)

Hello, no his fat will not stop his growing height but he will find difficulty in doing exercising which is necessary for height growth.
