Mr. Lybrate-user, I read your the details given, but what is the query is not clear. In patients with diabetes incidence of tb has been seen to increase. It is good that anti-tb treatment has been initiated, which you will have to take as advised your treating doctor. But it is equally important to have blood sugar in excellent control and also hypothyroidism. Ideally fasting blood glucose should be around 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg & hba1c%< 6.8. Similarly tsh should be between 3 to 4 milli units/l. This will help in maintaining a good health and proper response to anti - tb treatment. Thanks.
