Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory condition in which there are certain periods with symptoms and certain period with remissions. During remission the symptoms may be off or less. Disease modifying drugs are prescribed in allopathy to keep symptoms under control and needs continuous monitoring at-least once in three months to six months depending on the individual.
