About a month ago I had weed for the first time and had a very bad trip. It lasted for 6-7 days and on and off I could feel that high. After that I started thinking too much which resulted in stress and anxiety. I read it on the net that it can be followed by depression. Even now I Am constantly thinking about that trip and it feels like that feeling hasn't left. I am not very strong mentally and I am not able to control my thoughts. I am soo much into thinking that I do not remember sometimes what I did physically like I picked my phone from the table but I did not remember when. I will not do it again ever. I am very stressed about it and just want to be normal again. Please help.

Weed is chemically cannabis. Unless you use cannabis multiple times it doesnot cause any withdrawal. Your symptoms are only psychological. Your anxiety is an independent compliant by itself and seems unrelated to use of the weed. If you abstain from using weed you would remain free from symptoms that you are worried of. For your symptoms of anxiety consult a psychiatrist fir treatment and counselling.
