when the sugar is not maintained properly then the kidneys get effected and the creatinine is not excreted and the its blood levels goes up
please ensure that the blood sugar levels are always maintained properly so that there it does not affect the kidneys. Even if sugar levels come back to normal there may be chances that creatinine does not come back to normal
wish you good health
Hi, creatinine is a by product or a metabolite of muscle activity (protein break down product). It is directly not related to diabetes but to the effective kidney functioning. In diabetes kidneys are affected leading to increased level of creatinine in the serum. In other words if diabetes is well controlled kidneys remain in good shape and creatinine levels will remain low.
