I am 63 years old. I am suffering from acne for last 3 yrs. And taking medicines antibiotics, steroids etc. As per advise of dermatologists. Recently, I hv consulted dermatologist, who advised for isoin 20 - 0-1 and pastirex ointment - 1-1. Even after 4 days there was no significant improvement, however there was oozing out thick liquid and swollen skin. Particularly palms and fingers. Thereafter he added for tab omnacortil 10 - 0-1. Is it ok to use omnacortil 10 with isoin 20. Can I change to lobate gm cream instead of pastirex? As the presently, affected area is palms, it is necessary to get early cure in terms of stopping oozing out. Please advise.

Hello I doubt if your current condition is actually an acne considering your age and treatment you are getting. And if it is, it won't resolve in 4 days. It takes time. Firstly steroids are never given in acne lobate gm is again a steroid which will worsen your condition if it is acne there are better options available for acne. Don't mess with your skin get consulted from a board certified dermatologist asap.
