6 december ko mujhe pancreatitis hua thha, 12 dec ko discharge ho gya thha, 6 march tak medicine chali, 6 march se doctor ne diabetes ke liye glynase mf di hai. Blood sugar main har 10 din main check kr rha hu jo ki normal aati hai. Main ye jan na chahta hu ki diabetes ki medicine life long chalegi ya band ho jayegi.

Please post exact fasting & pp glucose levels as well as hba1c%, also let me know your dietary pattern, weight, height and extent of daily exercise. Hello lybrate-user ji in your case, there was no surgery performed, and your pancreatitis was treated conservatively, so chances are there that you have to take medicine till you're pancreas heals, for few month to years, not lifetime. Take care.
