My mother aged 75 years is facing critical digestion problems for the last year. Now she is not able to digest even simple dal roti and rice. Earlier she was suffering from rectal ulcers which had got cured after treatment. Now in the morning time, she is going the toilet 4-5 times and due to this she is loosing her weight. Many probiotics and rifagut-500 tried many times but not working. And finally, to stop loose motion, she has to take imidil for stopping diarrhea or loose motion. For the last two days, she started diarex of himalaya and feeling some comfort. My question is that can she take this medicine for a long time. Or what other medicines can be useful for this problem. And what diet she has to follow.
