Home remedies for controlling blood sugar levels: 1. Chew 7 leaves of neem early in the morning on an empty stomach. 2. Powder of fenugreek seeds, neem leaves, bitter gourd and black cumin all in equal quantities should be taken with warm water twice a day 1 hour before food.

To control diabetes it's important to follow the do's and don't of a diabetes. Exclude all starchy vegetables from your diet such as potato, colocasia, raw banana. In fruits all sweetened fruits should be avoided such as bananas, mango, litchi, chickoo, grapes. And apple in moderation.
