Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given and understand your concern. From the glucose levels mentioned it is clear that your present medication is not adequate. Plus there is a need to look at your diet, exercise being done daily, weight control, lipid profile as well as serum creatinine and urea. Unless all the aspects are looked at there is no way to give any fruitful advice. Another important aspect is with a bmi of 28.72 kgs /sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/sq meter) you are close to being in grade 1 obesity. Your ideal body weight should be about 64 kgs. Hence there is an excess of over 14 kgs, this also a hindrance in controlling blood glucose. I am sure you are aware that in a well controlled diabetes patient fbg should be < 100 mg or closer to it, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%(not mentioned). So please come bak with all the relevant information as mentioned, then I will be able to give specific guidance. I await your response. Or you may seek the advice of your close by physician. But controlling blood glucose is very essential to either postpone or prevent diabetes related long term complications involving multiple organs and systems. Thanks.
