I am taking hypertension medicine omligest ch 40 for last 6 years and before that amlodipine group for last 14 years. Current blood test report reveals that my creatinine level is 1.7 gfr-43, blood urea-22. Whether the hypertension medicine I am presrmly taking is ok or not. presently my bp is under control and normally 135/80.

Though olmezest can be safely given at gfr > 40 ml/min, in view of the increased serum creatinine level especially if dehydration cannot be excluded, it is safer to prescribe amlodipine/ clinidipine or combination drugs.
