I am 18 yrs. Old and I am having stomach pain and improper bowel movement since 2 months now. every time I eat anything, it kinda cause stomach pain and I have to visit to toilet. The facial discharge is completely liquid. After visiting to doctor twice I have taken 5 day twice oflata-oz medicine for entamoeba and have taken already 10 sachets of probiotics. And also 2 noworm tablets with a 14 days gap. But it didn't help. About 3 months back I ate lot of besan and maida dishes and after that it all started. I don't have blood stools but I think my symptoms match with colitis, or intestine inflammation. What do I eat, is there any home remedy to recover, I also do yoga everyday. I want to get rid of this problem, pls help.

Hi lybrate-user. I went through your history. Yoyears symptoms match with colitis, but first we have to ruleout infection as etiology. Get yourself a complete stool examination from a good lab. There are many non infectious conditions which can cause such symptoms like irreteble bowel syndrome, or colitis etc. please review with your complete stool examination reports. Also if any of your family members also have or had such symptoms, such information will also help. Get back with reports and we can evaluate. Good day.

You are young, already taken a course of antibiotic and probiotic and deworming. Just see what food is causing discomfort. Some foods can cause lot of bloating. Any resent change in your food habits or stress also to be considered. Simple tests to check your blood picture, stool examination and ultrasound. Later colonoscopy to be kept in mind. Now coming to home remedy, lot of curds and buttermilk will help in your gut immunity. Avoid packed and stored foods. Probiotics like providac for two weeks may help.
