I am 52 years old. I am dealing with depression where I am unable to remove some unwanted thoughts from my mind, my mind is just obsessed with a single thought, which causes fear and anxiety, unable to sleep in day and only catching 4 hours of disturbed sleep at night, I am taking fluoxetine (1) in morning and t.clomipramine (1) + fluvoxamine (1)+ lonazep 0.5 (1) at night, since 15 days, the dosage of these has been gradually increased after 10 days. But, I am unable to see any change in my thinking, I am still unable to get that thought out of my mind, which causes fear. How long will it take to see any change?

You have not described the thought that is causing all this distress. You must meet with a counselor and get some help with handling fear. Because you are not handling fear properly, you are tending to have anxiety and obsess about it to this extent. The counselor will help you deal with all your emotions and primarily help you express your feelings. You can also do some left brain exercises like: shutting your left nostril and breathing as much as possible; sleeping on your left ear only at night; doing calisthenic exercises along with counting and doing math problems on math worksheets, which you can download from google. In counseling you could identify where exactly did you stop expressing your fear and what kind of fear was induced sometime earlier in your life. When you deal with that much of your problem will have disappeared.
