Dear lybrate-user, is it dexona (dexamethasone, a steroid tablet) or disulfiram (an aversion therapy tablet). The reaction looks like disulfiram-alcohol reaction. Please take him to the nearest hospital and check pulse, bp and respiration. If it is low, start drip to stabilise his circulation. Otherwise he might go for a vascular shock. Once he vomits, he will sleep deeply for 2-3 hours and become normal.

The tablet you mentioned is a steroid, why was it given. It is never indicated for alcoholism. Kindly get him admitted in a hospital with detailed evaluation. Good luck.
