It's been 2 weeks since I am taking nexito 10 mg and lithosun 300 mg for severe depression and suicidal tendencies but depression has increased and suicidal tendencies are very very strong. I might attempt something. Till now no attempt has been done. I am trying to control myself though it is very hard. My family is not cooperating. They are just not bothered. Neither does the doctor as he neither picks up the calls nor replies to messages. What should I do. I don't want to live. I have physical problem so I ask my mom to take me to the doctor as my father cannot walk. I do not have anybody else. But she is just not interested. I am helpless.

Hi lybrate-user. Since its been only 2 weeks you have started the medications its too early to say that the medications aren’t working. It takes atleast 4-6 weeks for proper action. If no change till then, increase in dosage is required. However, if you currently continuously having strong suicidal thoughts, you might seek admission. Discuss this with your doctor. Hi lybrate-user im sorry. But you are not hopeless. Im sure you have friends pr cousins who can help you get medicine at home or take you to a doctor. Even better consult a psychiatrist online and request to get medicine delivered or take it from app. Please do not give up you are in depression what thoughts you are going through is due to that. Its not what you want. And contact your doctor immediately msg him about your increase suicidal thoughts.
