I have slip disc and have been healing. Eventually I have gained 20 kg over the years and cannot do intensive exercise. I wanted to know if I can do pull ups?

How bad is the disc and how long have you been in pain. Were you advised surgery. If the disc was not significant, most patients get better with physiotherapy in a few months, and as such may be able to do pull ups. If you are still symptomatic, you probably should see your orthopedist, perhaps do a repeat mri and assess the risk.
