Hello, thanks for the query. The drug mentioned is used to improve immunity and to prevent repeated respiratory tract and/or urinary tract infections. However, in a person with diabetes and hypothyroidism what is more important is to achieve a strict glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.8. Plus tsh around 3 to 4 mu/l. If diabetes is not well controlled repeated infections are bound to occur. Thanks.

It is suggested to boost immunity specially in patients of recurrent respiratory infections in COPD & Bronchial asthma and recurrent urinary tract infections.I do not feel it is useful in your case.
