I had taken 4 namcold tablets and two injections for cold fever before 8 days. 3 days later I again came to hospital. I then took my blood and urine test and in urine glucose is found. Than on other day I took fasting sugar test it shows 201. Than I was shocked and again took a test taking a meal. It was again 201. Than on next day I went to a dia betelogist. Than my fasting sugar is 166. And prandial sugar test shows 251. Than he prescribed me to take metformin. On other day I took one metformin and two hr later the fbs is 114 and after meal 145. I stopped medicine. On next day the fasting sugar is 116 and random is 172. Than on next day again by heavy exercise and good noncarb food the random sugar level is 113 and on the next day fasting sugar level is 100. I had not taken medicine in any day except first one. So will I start medicine or concentrate on better exercise and noncarb food .i am confused. My age is 34.
