I am 64 years, had non invasive, low grade papillary urothelial carcinoma, as per the biopsy report after surgery. My questions are 1.after every 3 months I have been advised to go for ultra sound (kub), urine cytology, kft, psa tests etc. And once in 6 months cystoscopy. Is it ok? 2.what are the chances of carcinoma coming back? 3. In case it comes back, understand bcg is injected for 4 weeks, once a week. Is it ok a and what are the chances of its coming back and spreading after bcg? Is bcg painful and having any side effects?
