I have sore throat with dry cough and running nose. Red patches can be seen in my throat. I am having montair-lc and dolo 650 mg.

Hi, You are having infection of upper respiratory tract. Redness, pain, soreness, heat are all signs of acute inflammation. Montair-lc Tablet belongs to the drug group called antihistamine that can help to relieve the symptoms like runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, sneezing, hives that are usually related to all-year round as well as seasonal allergies. Dolo 650 MG Tablet is used to temporarily relieve fever and mild to moderate pain such as muscle ache, headache, toothache, arthritis, and backache. Non of them is helping to kill the infection. I will advice you to gargle with lukewarm water for atleast 2 times/day and drink lot of water. Keeping yourself covered and reducing intake of cold and spice and sugar is advisable. Visit the nearest doctor for medication.
