Three months ago I had HbA1C level of 7.7. I was prescribed Glycomet 1G twice a day after lunch & dinner. Now my HbA1C level has come down to 6.5 Can I reduce the dosage to 500 mg thrice a day or lesser.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Your HbA1c% is quite good, which means the present treatment has really been effective, I do not see the reason for changing it. By reducing the dosage, there is a possibility of glucose levels going up again. Thanks.
