Mu first cardiologist prescribed Cilacar C for treating my hypertension recorded as 150/103. I used the medicine for 6 months my BP reduced to 120/80 after that I stopped using the medicine for 2 months. My relatives showed me to an another cardiologist who examined me thoroughly and said that my heart condition is good, bad cholesterol is some what more and prescribed me Metosartan 50. I used the same once a day for 50 days then I met the doctor. He said that my BP was normal i.e.120/80 and asked me to continue the same for another 2 months. I used the same for 15 days more. By that time I started suffering for acute stomach discomfort, dizziness, blood vessels swollen, drowsiness. Then I stopped using the medicine some 25 days back. Today my BP is recorded as 148/103 when I checked up at Noon. Shall I continue Metosartan-50 or Cilacar-C. I request you to give me proper advice to control my BP. I am 55 years old working as a teacher and an advocate.
