Hello doctor, I am 21 years old I am very slim person and very poor muscle growth in my boy so that I have joined gym uncharted my daily workout my trainer suggested me my diet in that he told me to take soc chickpeas in morning then I started Daily eating soaked chickpeas after few days I found I got a problem of gastric and my stomach is getting swollen day by day please suggest me how can I overcome this problem when I visited the urologist he given me gas tablets.

Please do diet plan through well qualified dietitian do not play with your health. Trainer is guide for exercise don't follow his diet plan. Start your day with warmlemon honey water, then take some dry fruits. Specially wallnut, soacked almonds, then take your breakfast in this you can add brown bread with boiled egg, or any type of breakfast. After you r gyming take protein shake. Then you take protein n fibre rich diet, rice little bit less quantity. Prefer basmati or brown or kolam rice, take probiotics, then after 2 hrs, take some citrus fruit, in evening take fruit chart in dinner no carbs only protein fibre n liquid. If you chek blood reports or any kind of reports pls share with me.

You have been given wrong advice to take chickpeas in the morning. If it does not suit you then stop taking it. You are creating double problem, first by having something unsuitable, then by taking medicine to solve that problem, which was never needed in the first place. There are are many options for taking proteins during the day, and you can choose them as per your food habits and comfort. There is no magic in chickpeas, it is just another source of good protein. Eat a balanced diet, taken different proteins throughout the day. Stop taking chickpeas, Stop taking medicine for gas. Both are not needed.
