My mother is 52 years old. Four months back she diagnosed with obstructive jaundice. We got her to hospital and doctors placed PTBD. Lots of fluid was coming. But now there is no fluid coming from it. Apart from this she is getting fever with shivering every third or fourth day. We had some tests HIDA scan and PET scan in starting of the treatment. They all are negative. But she not getting any better and have loss weight and appetite. Doctors now stopped discussing about obstructive jaundice and saying her liver got infected upto 60% they are not giving any clear picture what the real condition is. Please if anyone here can tell if my mother can cure or not? Waiting for the answer.
