I am 80 years old and have BP taking Covance D regularly. Now I have reduced it to three times a week and added one tablet daily of Mukta Vati of Patanjali for the last six months. My BP now is almost constant from 125-135 and 67-79. Should I reduce the medicine or stop it altogether. Kindly advise.

Keep BP under control. That is the most important. Check BP once every month. Whether ayurvedic or modern is your choice. Active part of mukta vati is reserpine, quite ok medicine. Reserpine was regularly used in modern medicine till 1984, when it got replaced by newer ones. Pharmaceutical companies sometimes encourage Drs to do such changes without good reason.
